About the flag

Equatorial Guinea's flag has three horizontal stripes of green, white and red, a blue triangle at the flagpole, and the coat of arms in the centre. The coat of arms shows a silk cotton tree beneath six yellow stars, one for the mainland and five for the islands. Green stands for the country's natural resources, white for peace, red for independence and blue for the sea.
