Cookie policy

This policy covers cookies and browser storage used by AtlasGenie. Cookies and local storage are different technologies, but both can keep information on your device.

Lovable Cloud maintains sign-in session information so you can stay signed in and use account features. The current browser account client uses its own session key in local storage, outside the ag: prefix. Any essential session cookies used by the hosting or account service support sign-in, delivery or security; they are not used to enforce the guest daily limit. Signing out clears the account session.

Current local-storage keys are:

• ag:limits — the local day and your guest game count, replaced when the day changes.
• ag:bests — this browser’s personal bests and best answer streak.
• ag:settings — your last region and difficulty per mode.
• ag:daily:YYYY-MM-DD — your result for each completed daily challenge date; older date keys are not automatically removed on a fixed schedule.
• ag:sound — your sound preference.
• ag:dev:today — a development-only date override for testing, not normal play.
• ag:consent — optional-service choices, timestamps and the notice version, with up to ten recent choices. We request a fresh choice after 180 days or a notice-version change. The record remains locally until replaced or cleared.

Current tab session-storage keys are:

• ag:returnTo — the validated same-site return page after sign-in, removed when read.
• ag:checkout-plan — the plan selected for checkout, removed when read on the success page.

Local storage lasts until cleared, replaced or removed. Tab session storage normally lasts for that tab session. These keys do not contain your email or card details. The account session itself contains sign-in information and is separate from game preferences.

Google Analytics uses _ga to distinguish browsers and ga followed by a property identifier to maintain session information. These are first-party analytics cookies used by Google Analytics to measure public-page visits and game interactions. Our site configures an expiry of 180 days; expiry may be refreshed by subsequent permitted use, and your browser may apply a shorter duration. These cookies are not essential to play.

Analytics requires permission in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and whenever location is unresolved. Elsewhere it may run unless you opt out. An explicit refusal applies regardless of location. We do not send private account pages, email addresses, payment details or URL query strings to Analytics. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

We use Google Consent Mode. Before any Google service loads, consent for analytics and advertising storage is set to denied in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and to granted elsewhere; your choice then updates it. Where Google’s certified consent message is shown, it records and updates your choices, and Privacy settings reopens it. Advertising is currently disabled: Google AdSense and advertising cookies do not load. Premium players do not load advertising scripts. Google Analytics information is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Use browser settings to inspect, block or clear cookies and local storage. Clearing game storage removes local settings, limits, bests and daily results; it does not cancel Premium or remove account-saved history. Blocking essential account storage may prevent sign-in from working.

Use Privacy settings in the footer or your account to change analytics permission or reject optional services. Withdrawal stops new analytics reporting and clears accessible Analytics cookies; opening the settings alone does not change your choice. Your choices apply across open tabs on this site.

Account deletion includes an optional choice to clear ag: local-storage data on the device you are using. It does not clear other browsers or tab session storage. Clearing the consent record can cause the privacy choice to be requested again.
