A right answer earns 500 points plus a speed bonus of up to 500, falling to zero at 15 seconds. A wrong answer or running out of time scores nothing. A perfect daily is 10,000.
The daily challenge is always played on Explorer, so the wrong answers are random countries from around the world. For look-alikes and trap cities, play Expert on any quiz page.
The daily challenge does not use up your free games: it never counts towards them, so you can always play it.
