About the flag
Denmark's flag, the Dannebrog, is red with a white Nordic cross set towards the flagpole. It is often described as the oldest national flag still in continuous use. Legend says it fell from the sky during a battle in Estonia in 1219. Its cross design was later copied by the other Nordic countries.
